4 questions out.

Your RFQ, clarified before you quote.

Cevelar finds what the request leaves open and turns it into questions for your customer, each with its page. You answer in days instead of weeks, price what is really asked, and skip the surprises after the order.

Your engineers spend their time on the answers, not on searching 64 pages for what is missing.

  1. 1

    Drop the request

PDF, Word or your customer's e-mail. No account to set up. Customer and project come from the document itself.

  2. 2

    Watch the questions appear

Each one with the quoted sentence, the page, and what it changes in your offer.

  3. 3

    Send them back

Copy as e-mail or export to Excel, sorted by what each answer changes.

The list you send back.

Sorted by what each answer changes, with the page next to every question. Your customer sees exactly where to look.

Answer while the request is warm

Your questions go out while others are still reading. The customer sees a supplier who understood the request.

Quote on facts, not assumptions

Open points are settled before the price is. No buffer for what nobody asked, no gap you pay for later.

No surprises after the order

Every question, its page and the answer stay on record. When scope is discussed later, you both look at the same list.

FAQ

Questions about RFQ analysis.

Something else? Ask us directly →

What is an RFQ analysis?

An RFQ analysis is the first careful read of a customer request before you quote. It finds what the request leaves open, what contradicts itself and what drives cost, so you can ask the right questions back. Cevelar returns these questions with the page they come from.

How long does an RFQ analysis take by hand?

Teams we work with describe one to three weeks of engineering time per request, often one person full time. Most of that time goes into finding what is missing, not into answering it.

Which documents can Cevelar read?

PDF, Word files and e-mails from your customer, including tables and cross references inside them.

What happens when the customer answers?

You drop the reply or the revised specification into the same project. Cevelar shows which questions are now closed and which new ones the answers raised.

Does Cevelar replace our requirements tool?

No. Cevelar works next to it. It reads the customer's documents before they become requirements in your tool, and hands results back as Excel or an exchange file.

Who sees our customer's documents?

Only your team and the Cevelar engineers on your project. Data is processed in the EU and never used for other customers.

Who is behind Cevelar?

Cevelar Technologies UG is based in Berlin and was founded in 2026 by Nils Flagmeier, eleven years in battery testing and validation, and Max Beitler, product and systems. More about Cevelar
